Your claim agreement lets us prepare and file your claim with HMRC. It is the only signature we need, and nothing can be filed until it is signed.
Where to find it
On your Home screen, tap Claim agreement. The web address is app.taxpro.co.uk/claims/<your claim>/sign. Add your home and work addresses first (task 1), because the agreement is prepared from them.
What you are signing
TaxPro becomes your HMRC agent and nominee. It is no refund, no fee: our fee is 37.5% plus VAT of any refund HMRC pays, taken off before we pay you. Tap See the five points for a summary, or Read the full agreement to read it all.
How to sign
Check your full legal name. Edit it if it is not your full legal name.
Tick "I agree to sign electronically and confirm my details are correct."
Tap Sign and continue.
Your typed name is applied to the signature fields. Signed copies are emailed to you and kept under Account.
If it will not load
Give it a few seconds, then refresh once.
If the agreement will not display, tap Open the PDF to read it, then sign on the screen.
If we changed your agreement after you signed, you see "Sign your updated agreement". Read the new version and sign again. You do not need to start your claim again.
