Not everyone has work travel to claim, and that is completely fine.
If your only travel is your normal commute
Travel from your home to your usual workplace is your daily commute, and it cannot be claimed. If that is your only travel, you do not need to add any journeys on this step. Please do not enter a journey that did not happen or a made-up amount to get past the screen, that would put incorrect information on your claim.
If the step will not let you continue
If the Travel and Mileage step will not let you move on without an entry, message us here and we will sort it for you so your claim can progress. Your rebate does not depend on having work travel, there are several other expenses you may be able to claim.
What does count as work travel
Journeys made as part of your job, rather than your normal commute, may be claimable, for example travelling to a temporary site, a client visit, or training away from your usual workplace. If you have any of these, add them on this step.
